Abstract
The Lanzhou storage ring has demonstrated its power in the experimental determination of heavier neutron-deficient masses, which has motivated theoretical discussions of isospin-symmetry breaking in the fp-shell mass regions and beyond. We summarize the recent theoretical studies of displacement energies and other related quantities within the framework of nuclear shell model. We emphasize the importance of the isospin non-conserving nuclear interactions for the upper fp shell nuclei.
