Abstract

The properties of the proton drip line nuclei are of strong significance for the astrophysical rp-process. Spectroscopic properties of such nuclei are also key topics in nuclear physics, where some interesting features may exist. At present, the proton drip line around Z = 50 is not well understood since spectroscopic information on these nuclei is not easy to be obtained by experiments. In this work, we calculate the single-proton separation energy for nuclei in the proton drip line near Z = 50 based on the nuclear shell model. Furthermore, we also predict the Jπ, β-decay half-lives, and β-decay Q values in this region. The calculated results are in good agreement with experimental data. According to the single-proton separation energy, the proton drip line in this region can be predicted, and it is forecast that 4690Pd, 4794Ag, 4894Cd, 4998In, and 5098Sn are the proton drip line nuclei.
