Abstract

The existing probabilistic power and gas flow (PPGF) analysis for electricity-gas coupled networks (EGCN) mainly focus on the uncertainties of nodal injected power, such as wind power, electricity/gas loads. Variations of pipeline parameters and their effects on PPGF are not studied so far. Therefore, a PPGF model considering the uncertainties and correlations of the wind power, electricity/gas loads and pipeline parameters is proposed in this paper. Both normal and uniform distributions are adopted to model the uncertainties in pipeline parameters, and a probabilistic method based on Latin hypercube sampling (LHS) and Nataf transformation is developed to solve the PPGF problem. The effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by a set of test results with an EGCN composed of the IEEE-33 bus system and a 11-node gas network.
