Abstract

A probabilistic optimal power flow model as well as algorithm is provided considering transaction power constraint of tie line group for interconnected power system with photovoltaic power generation. Firstly, a probabilistic optimal power flow model is established with optimization goal which is minimizing the loss of active power, considering transaction power constraint of tie line group and the intermittency of photovoltaic power generation. Considering that the distributed algorithm in the deterministic optimal power flow solution method is more suitable for multi-region interconnected power system, it is proposed to use the decomposition-coordination optimization model to represent the previously established model and use the decomposition-coordination interior point method as the solving method for the deterministic optimal power flow. Furthermore, the whole probabilistic optimal power flow is solved using stochastic response surface method. Simulation for interconnected power system constructed from the IEEE30-bus system verifies the correctness as well as the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.
