Abstract

Lost voices, forgotten voices contribute to valuing the roots of the female intelligentsia, mythical, historical and literary biographies, what Saron Keefe Ugalde, in his study En voz denominates the matrilineal inheritance so invisible throughout history. In this book, Lost Voices, Forgotten Voices, 36 biographies of writers, women possessing knowledge, knowledge or exceptional powers are recovered. The fascinating study of the authors and authors of these works has been recovered the biographies and works of these writers. They overcame the difficulties of a patriarchal and androcentric culture, becoming publishers and full-fledged authors.
