Abstract

AbstractAs internet has become a part of our daily life, more and more servicers and facilities are being deployed on it in order to reach maximum people while minimizing the effort and cost. Health care units are also relying on the internet to provide their services to people and to acquire knowledge to efficiently treat the health problems. The term Smart Health Care or e-Health is commonly used when health care systems make used of internet technologies like Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing to facilitate people. Along with these benefits, such systems are prone to attacks and risks of information security and privacy of the people involved, particularly because of the large amount of untrustworthy or fake information related to health issues circulated over the internet. This chapter here discusses the benefits as well as the challenges of implementing a smart health care using IoT and cloud integrated system. The integration of these two intelligent systems can result in a very successful e-Health system.KeywordsIoTCloud computingSmart HealthcareWSNIoHTBSNMITM
