Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of approximately a half of the repertory of the sacred music of the 18th and 19th century written by foreign composers that is kept by the archives in Ljubljana, Celje, Maribor, Novo mesto, Komenda, and Ptuj. The goal of the analysis is to classify the compositions of the treated repertory by various traditions and practices of the sacred music of that time and to compare it with the repertories of other regions of Central Europe.
