Abstract

Less frequent than haemarthroses, muscular heamatomas generate functional and sometimes lethal risks. Their treatment is not as precisely codified as that of haemarthroses, though it similarly lies upon injections of anti haemophilic factor, the prevention of fixed contractures, and rehabilitation. More difficult yet is the treatment of haemophilic pseudo tumours, which in adult patients is quite always a surgical one. Surgery is now possible even in haemophiliacs who have an inhibitor. In patients who are infected by the human immunodepression virus, surgery depends on a sufficient number of CD4 lymphocytes.
