Abstract

In an effort to respond to internal and external demands for growth and success, many organisations have adopted the goal of becoming a learning organisation. To be a learning organisation (LO) requires knowledge management (KM), which in turn is dependent of a LO. In this regard, the knowledge management strategy decision-making framework is essential for managers and strategists to determine the most appropriate KM strategy in an efficient manner. Hence, the ranking method called integrated Shannon’s entropy-TOPSIS methodology is used to sort the knowledge management by the preference of decision makers. Finally, the case study is illustrated at the Isfahan University’s Entrepreneurship Centre. The results indicate that the best knowledge management strategy towards the goal of becoming a learning organisation is the dynamic knowledge management strategy. This means that Entrepreneurship Centre preferred a KM strategy balancing both explicit and tacit knowledge.
