Abstract
The research aims to analyze the priority of urban environmental issues and present basic data on policy measures to solve urban environmental problems in the air and waste sectors. According to the analysis citizens are highly interested in waste issues including household waste due to urban environmental issues and in particular they recognize issues about waste management measures more important than increased waste emissions. It has also been confirmed that there is a high interest in waste management measures that cause environmental pollution as waste management measures. On the other hand it has been confirmed that there is a high interest in particulate matter which is also the most sensitive social issue in recent years and in particular in particulate matter reduction measures. As a result of this study it is necessary to find solutions to urban environmental problems through citizen participation as core tasks for particulate matter reduction, environmental pollution waste measures and industrial waste emission management.
