Abstract

This paper proposes a printed fractal Sierpinski gasket dipole antenna with a novel planar feeding structure. As expected, the simulated and measured results confirm that the printed fractal Sierpinski gasket dipole antenna exhibits multiband behavior and log-periodic spacing among bands. Current density distributions on the antenna surface clearly reveal these properties. The improved feeding structure and complete planar configuration will allow further exploration of the Sierpinski gasket dipole antenna in differential radios and radars.
