Abstract
The paper describes a new type of electromechanical inverse-time overcurrent device for the protection of power-supply circuits. The various time/current characteristics of the new relay and the methods by which they are obtained are given, and some basic features are discussed. A method of compensating for the timing errors caused by ambient-temperature change is described.
