Abstract

The key principles of designing circuit forms of three-phase symmetric fractional windings of electrical machines are shown. Their electromagnetic properties in the presence of lowest fractional harmonics in MMF are studied. The conditions of their restriction or complete elimination are revealed for the case of constructing loop fractional windings with zones of m′ = 6 and m′ = 3 and group coils with an unequal number of turns based on the proposed circuit forms.
