Abstract

Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic cholestatic liver disease that involves progressive destruction of the small bile ducts. Its incidence has risen over the last 20 years. PSC tends to arise especially in patients with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases. There is no effective medical treatment for PSC. But, early diagnosis is important for complication management
