Abstract

This paper presents Oxypetalum aurantiacum Malme ex. Chod. & Hassl. (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) as a new record for Brazil, in the state of Parana. The species description and illustration are presented, and its geographical distribution and habitat are commented. We propose as new synonyms: Oxypetalum uruguayense Malme and Oxypetalum arachnanthum Arechav.
