Abstract
A steam turbine has two or more turbine sections. Figure 4.1 gives the model of one type of steam turbine known as tandem compound single reheat turbine [1, 2] which has three turbine sections: high pressure (HP), intermediate pressure (IP), and low pressure (LP) turbine sections.
