Abstract

Data are given on the concentration of suspended organic carbon and chlorophylla in seston, the quantity of organic carbon in bottom sediments, and other environmental characteristics. The results of experiments determining daily quantitites of total and net primary production and aerobic decomposition in plantonic and bottom communities are discussed.
