Abstract
Primary lymphoma of the pancreas is a rare cause of obstructive jaundice. Unlike most pancreatic malignancies, survival is much better with aggressively treated lymphoma. To highlight the importance of aggressive surgical management and prompt oncologic therapy in this rare disease, we report a case of primary pancreatic lymphoma with painless obstructive jaundice. When confronted with an apparent aggressive pancreatic mass on imaging studies, surgeons must remember this diagnosis, as it carries real hope for the patient.
