Abstract
A 65-year-old man had a primary mucinous tumor of the right side of the neck with distinctive histologic and histochemical features. Primary mucinous (adenocystic) carcinoma of the skin should be differentiated from the sweat gland carcinomas in general since their biologic reaction is characterized by a very low incidence of metastasis.
