Primary care white paper postponed.

Abstract

The launch of the Government's long awaited White Paper on primary health care was postponed last week following health chief John Moore's admission to hospital. Mr Moore was admitted to the private £195 a day Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon, South London, with what a DHSS spokesman described as 'a bacterial infection'. He was to give his statement on the future of primary health care services last Thursday but now he hoped to deliver it 'by the middle of the week'.
