Abstract
Varicose veins are a common pathology in medical practice, easily diagnosed, with risk factors that can be universally recognized for starting preventive therapeutic measures. Early detection of this pathology in the family doctor's office involving secondary preventive measures and proper management, sometimes in collaboration with a specialist Phlebology, prevents the progression of complications. This study of adults(over 30 years), analyzes 104 people with a prevalence of 17.39% of varicose veins, with different prevalences in sexes, age groups and depending on the risk factors often meet with primary and secondary preventive indications.
