Prezentacija Pirotske tvrđave modernim tehnologijama i formiranje izložbenih postavki u Gornjem gradu

Abstract

After less than two decades of work on the projects connected with Pirot fortress and its entire revitalization, it is certain that this year the last planned project will enter its implementation phase. It is a project which included the presentation of the fortress and its immediate surroundings with modern technologies and through several construction phases and very distant time periods but also the part which relates to establishment of exhibitions in the Upper Town. The project involved two teams of experts selected so that each segment of the work is done in the best possible way and that the data which will be made available to the public are credible and affirmative. Also, special attention was paid to evaluation and presentation of the local cultural and historical values and their placement in the broader context of the time. The interpretation of relevant facts and data was made very carefully with a special emphasis on different levels of knowledge and interest of the future audience. Given that this whole process had a lot of positive but inevitably some negative results, this work in addition to summarizing the whole process, aims to provide inspiration and mention participants, but also be a signpost for some other large and ambitious projects and those who participate in them at all positions and in any phase of planning and decision-making.
