Abstract

HIV/AIDS is a health problem in many countries. Although HIV cases in Indonesia fluctuate, in general they tend to increase. Indonesia is the largest Muslim majority country in the world. Islam is a religion as well as a way of life that has complete rules of life. To get the concept of prevention of HIV/AIDS, it is necessary to do research on the Islamic view of preventing HIV/AIDS. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach. The research method is library research. Researchers collect data through research journals according to the research theme. Then analyzed and drawn conclusions. The conclusion is that the biggest risk factor for the spread of HIV/AIDS is through adultery and homosexuality. Islam has the concept of preventing adultery and homosexual acts. The severe punishment imposed by Islam on adulterers and homosexuals will prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
