Abstract
One of the main side effects of anticancer therapy is male infertility. The article deals with the causes, mechanisms and effects, occurring after treatment with cytotoxic drugs, as well as ways to preserve the reproductive function. The experience of the Federal Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev in solving this problem.

Использование цитостатических препаратов в период полового созревания нарушает дифференцировку клеток Сертоли, снижает тестикулярный объем и вызывает различные дефекты сперматогенеза [7]. Уровни ФСГ и ингибина В в сыворотке крови косвенно отражают активность клеток Сертоли, что широко используется в клинической практике в качестве маркера различных нарушений сперматогенеза [8]. В яичке находятся 2 типа наиболее важных для сперматогенеза клеток: клетки Лейдига и клетки Сертоли. Благодаря развитию вспомогательных методов оплодотворения в настоящее время даже крайне низкие показатели сперматогенеза не являются ограничением для сохранения половых клеток до начала лечения [21].
