Abstract

Objective To improve the diagnosis and treatment of altografted renal artery thrombosis.Methods Seven cases(8 times)of the allografted renal artery thrombosis were studied retrospectively from 636(660 times)recipients.Results The diagnosis was confirmed by color Doppler ultrasound and (or)renal arteriograhpy.Except 2 cases who occurred in later period of transplantation,other 5 cases of allografted renal artery thrombosis occurring at the early state all underwent graft nephrectomy.Two out of the 5 cases were subjected tO the thrombectomy in ipsilateral A.external iliac and the blood supply of ipsilateral A.femoratis was recovered,and thromNasis reoccurred in one of them 3 years after renal re-transplantation.Conclusions allografted renal artery thrombosis had a poor prognosis.The prevention is very important for the disease.Early diagnosis and immediate operation are key for allografted renal artery thrombosis.
