Abstract
This paper presents important issues on the Prevention and Detection of Cyber Crimes in Tanzania as described by the new Cyber Crime Act No.13 of 2015. The purpose here is basically to disseminate the reader with a careful understanding of the Cyber Crimes. The author traces back the meaning, history, and types of Cyber Crimes (this is the same explained in terms of internet). Also one has to know the concept of Cyber prevention and detection; this includes meaning and history, Cyber Prevention and Detection Methodologies and Legal Instruments. The last part is personal assessment basically in Tanzanian Cyber Laws on how prevention and detection of cyber crimes have been explained.
