Abstract

During the operation, the use of anesthetics or analgesics and bleeding will cause hypotension on patients, thus seriously threatening the patient’s life and safety. Isatis indigotica is utilized as traditional drug, which is an important medicinal herb with various biological activities because of the presence of different secondary metabolites. The role of a new compound extracted from Isatis indigotica on hypotension after anesthesia was determined, and the internal principle was discussed simultaneously. At first, operation under anesthesia was carried out, the compound was administered for treatment, and the blood pressure level of the mice was measured. In addition, real time RT-PCR was conducted, and the expression level of α receptor expression on peripheral vascular endothelial cells was measured. Additionally, the neighbor-joining phylogenetic results manifested that I. indigotica and Raphanus sativus clustered with other related categories.
