Preventing Adolescent Alienation is a compendium of the proceedings of a 1981 conference on Prevention of Adolescent Behavioral Problems. Distinguished contributors include Pulitzer prize winner, Robert Coles from Harvard; former head of the US Children's Bureau, Edward Zigler of Yale, and others. The topics addressed deal with adolescent alienation and consider prevention of related problems in areas such as sex, school, delinquency, suicide, chemical and substance abuse, and the development of values.
