Lucent Technologies has responded to these needs by creating a portfolio of preventative maintenance services that identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to solve and prevent network issues. The preventative maintenance suite of services utilizes a combination of specialized skills and state-of-the-art platforms to address network issues such as performance degradation and capacity bottlenecks. The services portfolio includes diagnostic reports and online views of hardware configurations of critical network components for wireline and wireless networks.
