Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of differing rates of Kontos, Endeavor, and Neemix for residual control of green peach aphids (GPA) on bell peppers, compared to a water control. Spirotetramat (MoA 23) is the novel active ingredient in Kontos and may be used to manage a variety of pests, including adelgids, aphids, leafhoppers, mealybugs, psyllids, rust mites, immature thrips, and whiteflies. Pymetrozine and azadirachtin, the active ingredients of Endeavor and Neemix, respectively, are also commonly used to manage aphids.
