Abstract

Food allergy is a common condition, with widely varying estimates of prevalence worldwide and within the United States. The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) is a periodic survey conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that examines a nationally representative sample of approximately 5000 subjects each year.
