Abstract

The rapid growth of online food delivery services has spotlighted the occupational hazards faced by food delivery employees, particularly the prevalence of wrist overuse syndrome. This condition, caused by repetitive movements, is exacerbated by the nature of delivery work, including continuous gripping of handlebars, smartphone use, and lifting heavy bags. Ergonomic challenges and pressure to meet delivery deadlines compound the risk. This study examines the prevalence of overuse syndrome of the wrist among food delivery employees, a population increasingly reliant on repetitive wrist movements due to the demands of their occupation.
