Abstract

A door-fo-door survey was carried out at village Mansa, a highly fluoretic area of Punjab. The data of the present study has been compared with that of the survey carried out at village Raipur Rani, a low fluoride area in Haryana during year of 1972. Both these surveys were conducted on a similar pattern as advised by the bio-statistician. A higher, though not statistically significant, incidence of Otosclerosis and sensori-neural deafness was found in the high fluoride area.
