Abstract
Rates of FTM use, a subset of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), are high among Hispanic adults, and includes some products and practices with dangerous consequences. Nevertheless, among the rapidly growing Hispanic adolescent population, no published data on FTM use exists. This study evaluated FTM use among Mexican/Mexican-American adolescents and had two aims: 1) To determine the prevalence of FTM use 2) To identify personal factors associated with use.
