Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients may present with food-associated gastrointestinal symptoms similar to those seen in food allergy (FA). Minimizing food restrictions is a priority for these patients to optimize overall nutrition. However, there is a gap in knowledge about the prevalence and phenotype of FA in CF patients and CF carriers in the United States.
