Abstract
Background: Male involvement in family planning can address unmet needs for contraception. Despite this, many women in sub-Saharan Africa use modern contraceptives without their male partner’s knowledge. Using data from the Consumer’s Market for Family Planning (CM4FP) survey, this study examined the prevalence and correlates of Covert Contraceptives’ Use (CCU) in Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda.
