Abstract

Tuberculosis is one of the major public health problems in South-East Asian countries with immense socio-economic impacts. The advantage and disadvantage of starting anti-tubercular therapy in presumptive diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis is debatable in a resource constrained settings.
