Abstract

We investigated the pressure-induced superconductivity for an antiferromagnet CeCoGe 3 without inversion symmetry in the crystal structure. We found the pressure-induced superconductivity in CeCoGe 3 with the superconducting transition temperature T sc = 0.7 K at 5.5 GPa. CeCoGe 3 belongs to a new type of superconductor without inversion symmetry in the crystal structure as in CePt 3 Si, UIr, CeRhSi 3 and CeIrSi 3 .
