Abstract
AbstractLaser diodes with output powers of 1–2 W and emission wavelengths of 808, 860, 975, 1060, 1120, 1210, and 1540 nm have been tuned with pressure up to 2 GPa. Pressure tuning might become a practical method for tuning near‐infrared lasers in spectroscopic applications, such as photoluminescence excitation, photoreflectance, and resonant Raman scattering, as well as in applications as optical pumps at unique wavelengths.
