Abstract
A concentration cell for electromotive force (EMF) measurements under pressure was newly developed. The EMF was measured for liquid Na x Ga 1−x mixtures ( x = 0.64–0.80) up to 1100 bar and 630°C. The concentration fluctuations are large in Na-rich side at atmospheric pressure and diminish considerably by a slight application of pressure.
