Abstract
The pressure effect of metamagnetic properties in an itinerant d-electron system is discussed at finite temperature by taking into account the effect of spin fluctuations based on the phenomenological Landau-Ginzburg theory. The metamagnetic transition is shown to disappear at a critical temperature T 0 and at a critical pressure P 0. Numerical calculations are carried out for YCo 2 and LuCo 2.
