Abstract

The temperature and pressure changes by a solar radiation in the rooftop slab were measured. When the heat insulation was installed, the member located outside of it became hotter and the pressure increased. And the pressure was transferred to other adjacent low pressure members. However, even in such a state, the air vent method by waterproofing membrane through an air permeable sheet was effective in ventilating the pressure inside the slab. A method of ventilation from the lower layer of roof protect concrete, assuming the release of pressure from the joint parts, was proposed and its effectiveness was also confirmed.
