Abstract

The pressure dependences of hyperfine fields H i at various 3d and sp impurities in ferromagnetic GdZn have been measured by NMR at 4.2 K. The pressure variation of H i at 55Mn is almost ascribed to that of the conduction electron contribution, while the result for 59Co suggests that a local moment is induced by pressure. The values of d ln H i/d P for sp impurities (Cu, As, In, Sb, Bi) are positive and increase with the impurity valence.
