Abstract

The influence of hydrostatic pressure on the magnetic and superconducting properties of the antiferromagnetically ordered heavy-fermion superconductors UNi2Al3 and UPd2Al3 was investigated by means of AC resistivity measurements. Whereas in UNi2Al3 both Tc and TN decrease strongly with applied pressure, only small effects were observed in UPd2Al3 for p < 10 kbar.
