Abstract

Abstract The pressure dependence of the Hall effect in single crystals of CeNiSn (J‖b, H‖a; J‖a, H‖b; J‖b, H‖c) has been measured. The Hall coefficient RH decreases with pressure in the low-temperature range, indicating a decrease of gap energy under pressure due to the decrease of slope in the log ϱ versus 1/T dependence. A crossover temperature is observed in the slope of this dependence.
