Abstract

During operation of oil-producing wells, knowledge of reliable values of the pressure and density of the blend, as well as the nature of their distribution along the tubing length, allows to choose the most effective method of oil recovery and determine the optimal mode of operation of the well. The article studies the structural diagram of a depleted well serviced with a variable speed pump, which is divided into three sections: bottom hole - suction of the pump, production string (tubing), and tubular annulus. The article also considers the dependence of the pressure and density of the blend on the oil-producing wells depth as one of the algorithm essential components for controlling the oil production process, which has its own characteristics for different ways of lifting products to the surface. The study results of changes in the oil, gas and water blend density in the tubing and in the tubular annulus, as well as changes in the oil and water blend density in the section of the bottom hole - suction of the pump indicate the need to measure pressure at the wellsite at several points. In other words, installation of remote stationary pressure indicators at the inlet and outlet of the downhole pump is a necessary and sufficient condition for information support, as well as inside of the tubing and tubular annulus of an oil production wells in order to apply them to the systems for monitoring and controlling the process of oil production. A device for measuring pressures inside the tubing and tubular annulus with the its installation possibility in several control points in an oil wellbore is proposed. The proposed device introduction for the purpose of the operational management of the production wellsite operation mode will lead to its effective operation and an increase in the oil flow rate.
