CLEARWATER BEACH, FLORIDA — Colleges and universities face tenuous times full of daunting challenges, according to E. Gordon Gee, J.D., Ed.D. But in this atmosphere of havoc, student affairs professionals must embrace the opportunity to establish building blocks for a havoc‐resistant future for higher education, he said at Stetson University's National Conference on the Law and Higher Education, when he accepted the William A. Kaplin Award for Excellence in Higher Education Law & Policy Scholarship.
