This amount of material costs over $4.00 in Earth and Planetary Science Letters and Geochima et Cosmochimica Acta, two of the more reasonably priced, commercially published journals and about $9.50 in Geophysical Surveys. But, you say, ‘ Wait a minute! What about the page charge of $80? That's 6.5c per word.’ OK; if there were no page charge, your library would still pay less than $2.40 for those 46,000 words.
