Abstract
Hello, and welcome to the first quarter issue of the EMC Society Magazine. It is my distinct privilege and honor to write this, my first President's Message, in this issue. I took possession of the gavel of the Office of President in Rome, Italy, at our November 2013 Board of Directors meeting. As you can probably see in the accompanying picture, Ghery and I were both happy with the handover!
