Abstract

AbstractBackground High‐grade non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma is a clinical criterion for the diagnosis of AIDS. Extranodal involvement is not infrequent, but the observation of skin as the only site affected is rare.Patient A 29‐year‐old female, CDC stage 4A: history of drug use. AIDS diagnosed clinically and historically on the observation of a non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma of B‐cell origin from a single cutaneous lesion.Treatment and results There was no evidence of lymphoma in other locations apart from skin. Therapy with local radiation alone resulted in clearance at I year follow‐up.
